Saturday 30th October Birmingham Chester Road Baptist Church 10.00 am to 3.30 pm, in aid of Facing Africa NOMA fundraising. (NOMA is a gangrenous infection of the face caused by malnutrition. It is easily preventable by antibiotics and good nutrition. It generally starts in the gums of children aged 1 to 6 years old and quickly spreads. Within a few weeks the lips, cheek nose and jaw are eaten away leaving unsightly gaping holes in the face of the victims. If you need to see for yourself, please visit www.facingafrica.org. This charity is linked to Great Ormond Street, whose General Doctors; maxillofacial Surgeons, plastic surgeons and nurses give their time Free to reface some of these unfortunate children.)

Mere Green Thursday 1st October, 'Pink Day', Mere Green Cancer Research Retail Shop, 280 Lichfield Road, Mere Green, 11am to 2pm in support of Breast Cancer Research
Oct 1st  Pink Day  and final week 26th to 31st  of the ‘Pink ‘ month in Mere Green  Cancer Research shop,  realised  £115 raised for Breast Cancer Research.  The Cancer Research shop will continue selling copies of Wizard’s Woe in further support of Cancer Research in general

Ledbury Thursday 9th July at ‘Wyndcroft’,  Parkway, nr Ledbury HR8  2JD, 2pm to 4pm.
£57 was raised for AFIA (Away From It All). The charity enables the Mothers’ Union there to send desperately needful families in need of a holiday, away for a break
